The WHM consists of many buildings!

Grandma's Haus

Dean's Tool Shed

Little Red School House

The Blacksmith's Shop

The Fire House

The Doctor's Office

and the

Old Train

Those are only the out buildings - the Large Museum Building is full of history just waiting to be explored!!

Open by chance or appointment throughout the year and every day during the Maple Syrup Festival

Sugar Camp
EVERYONE IS invited to tour a working Sugar Camp, Wakarusa's Historic Museum and Downtown Wakarusa where you are treated to Free Kettle Popped Popcorn and a visit to the Wakarusa Dime Store!

It takes a lot of water and boiling to make fresh maple syrup. Wilbur Miller explains the process to teachers and students!
